While on a trip to Paris with his fiancée's family, a nostalgic screenwriter finds himself mysteriously going back to the 1920s every day at midnight.
I found this concept of travelling back in time so fascinating. Every night Gil would step into a classic car and be transported back to the Roaring 20s. The people he would meet and the inspiration he'd bring back with him was very intriguing and you could feel his immense satisfaction of being a part of this incredible phenomenon. To be able to step back in time to a specific period would be awe inspiring. This movie is unique and has a fated end. Everyone has the ending that they were meant to have. It's not an Oscar winning movie but it is in a category of its own and set in the "City of Light".
