From the very start, I was at ease with the way the book was written and was in love with how the author conveyed words. I never knew that such simple sentences could be so haunting and beautiful. The book has vintage pictures throughout that really made the novel unique and peculiar, some were evne kind of creepy.

The book is actually a series with at least two more after this one, and there is a movie out based on this book. The movie was not as good as the book, but they often never are.

If you are looking for something different to read, I recommend this book!

I was actually given this book, so it was freeee. Anyhow, an enjoyable story, I particularly enjoyed the included creepy children pictures. The ending is very unsatisfactory, but fortunately it is a part of a series, so that's a thing to look forward to. Solidly written and the characters an enjoyable.

I have been told to not watch the movie, since I liked the book.

I read this book knowing there was a movie coming out and I must say I was so captivated by the story that I couldn't put the book down!!! I loved the photographs added thoughout the book, so interesting and bizarre at the same time! Makes you wonder about what could be real!
