Angela Lansbury was a great actress that made this mystery show wonderful. I would watch when she came on. It was a great family show with none of the silly or adult themes that some shows have now. This is a must watch for anyone who loves murder/mysteries.

Mystery writer and amateur detective Jessica Fletcher - a down-to-earth, middle-aged widow - ferrets out the criminals in idyllic Cabot Cove, Maine, which apparently is the murder capital of the United States for the show's 12-season run. Though while traveling, she uncovers a fair number of killers as well.

I didn't watch this TV show when it first aired but I still found it appealing years later. Angela Lansbury was amazing in this role. She was always on the hunt to uncover the truth and she had a knack for it. Every episode was intriguing and full of mystery. So many actors/actresses made appearances on her show. Entertaining and witty, this is a great murder/mystery show worth watching.
