    Terrible experience

I tried Nair Wax-ready strips for the first time and was very disappointed. I usually go with Veet wax strips but thought I would try Nair and I won't be making the same mistake twice. I used 8 strips and not one of them separated from the other properly for me to use. I tried without warming the strips (as recommended) and tried a few warming them and neither worked. Maybe I had a bad box, but I will not be trying again or wasting my money. I have used Veet multiple times in the past and will continue to use it for my waxing needs.

These were HORRIBLE!! They didn't remove much hair at all, and it was SO hard to get all the left over wax off my body, even with the included wipes. Not a fan at all

I really wanted to love these , because I thought the concept was really interesting and convenient, but these strips were terrible. It didn't take off ANY hair what so ever.I was extremely disappointed in these wax strips.I have tried wax strips in the past and have had success with them , but for some reason these just wouldnt collect any hair.

** This product was sent to me by ChickAdvisor for review. **

Waxing is not my usual go-to method for hair removal, but I was still curious and excited to give it a try. I would say my leg hair is about a medium thickness, and I waited for the hair to be about 1/4 inch in length.

I was not a fan of this product. It did not even come close to removing all of the hair that the wax had contact with. It says that you can reuse the strip but I couldn’t. After one use all the “stickiness” was gone. The strips also left a sticky, waxy residue on my leg, but that’s apparently what the post waxing wipes are for and that is what I had a major issue with, with this product. After giving up after the 4th strip, I used the post waxing wipe. It took the residue off my leg but it was insanely greasy and it ended up giving me a horrible rash on my leg (I’ll add a picture).

All in all, once the rash subsided, the leg was smooth in the small patches where the hair was actually removed. Even a few days after shaving it’s smooth in those areas.
It retails for $16.99, I would not pay that for this product unless it worked better. I think I will try this product one more time and if it changes my mind, I’ll update my post! But this time, I will most definitely NOT be using the wipes.

If anyone has any questions, or would like to know more, feel free to message me. My social media links are in my profile!
    Cheers,

    Emanda

I wax my arms and legs myself so I was excited to try out the wax strips. The instructions were short and seem simple enough, and because of the wax ready theme, you don't have to wait for the wax to warm up nor end up with sticky wax on everything around you. I was, however, disappointed with how it did not do such a great job compared to the roll on wax by the same brand and how it irritated my skin felt afterwards. The idea is convenient, maybe it works for others. I received this product for free as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club but I do not think I will be buying it again.

I tried this product on both my arms and my legs, which both had different lengths of hair available for removal. Unfortunately, in both cases only about 30% of the hair was actually removed. It was pretty painful though, and for it's overall lack of success on the first two tries in each area, it simply isn't worth continuing on. The aftercare wipes are quite moisturizing but my skin is still red and sensitive from the waxing, My leg is tolerable levels of pain but my arm is actually quite irritate by my shirt, it is painful enough that I am considering changing my sweater to leave my arm uncovered.

I received this product for free from Nair and ChickAdvisor but I will always provide my honest opinion so that you can trust my reviews. I'm sorry this review wasn't more positive but I am sure others will have a different experience.

I should add that the product smelled great and if it had worked it was easy to use with no rubbing or warming.
