I have tried it when I had hot pink streaks in my hair. Normally red based colours fade very quickly. Although this is pricey, I found it did help me retain my colour for longer than if I used normal shampoo. I would buy it again if it were on sale.

Absolutely love this brand! I have used many of their products and recommend them all. Although it is a little on the higher end price wise for a drug store shampoo it's worth every penny. It always leaves my hair feeling smooth, soft, and smells great too!

I wish I can use Nexxus products all the time but they're a little on the pricey side for drug store brand. It smells so nice and makes me so happy using it. It makes my hair smooth and silky.

I'm a stickler for nexus products but the price can always be iffy. This product was great when I first changed colour as time went on it'd get greasy but you just have to use it only on every few washes instead.

I liked it because it helped me retain my colour longer, however after a while it gave me a waxy build up. It wasn't worth it. I like joico kpac I think I'll stick with my brand. It smelled good though.

Not my favourite hair care product. I found it left my hair greasy and didn't smell that great. And I thought it was expensive. Results where not great so not going to buy again. :( Disappointed with this one!

I personally love this product!! Works great on dyed hair. Especially for bright colors! I'd say it's great quality and is great for the price, leaves my hair silky smooth and smelling great from roots to tips.

I did look over some of the other reviews for this product, and didn't see many good reviews. However, I found it to be effective to what it describes on the label.

It is a little bit heavier, as I find most color protection conditioners tend to be, but the trick, it NOT to apply to roots. Your roots are always going to be the oiliest area on your head. Brushing your hair with a large paddle brush a few times a day with help get those oils to the ends of your hair to protect it. That is why most people with long hair have dry ends and need repair serums etc. Use this product on mid lengths and ends only. You will be happy with the results.

The Nexxus color assure shampoo did not hold the color of my hair as I expected it too.
My color came out in the shower multiple times and I am not a fan of the heavy shampoo which it is as well.
