Not a bad make up remover, if you manager to find it on sale. It removes all my eye make up ( and I wear about two coats of mascara plus eyeliner) on the regular. It doesn't sting and I don't feel like I have to keep wiping over and over.
This eye makeup remover works very well. I wet a cotton pad and it removes most of my eye makeup from both eyes, including mascara. It doesn't remove absolutely everything, although I find most products do not. It did not irritate my eyes either. I would recommend!
I found this make-up remover very drying on my eyes. It also took way more product than I thought for it to work effectively.
It stung while I was using it. Not recommend for my sensitive eyes.
it does the job, but I needs a lot of tissue to help you fully remove the makeup. Sort of irritated my eyes a bit too an a couple of occasions.
As a sensitive skin person, trying to find an effective and not painfully expensive eye makeup remover is not an easy task. While I do enjoy Clinique's Eye Makeup Remover, I can't really afford it all the time, so for the past few months I've been exploring other options.
Imagine my surprise when the standout winner of this drugstore challenge was none other than Nivea's cream based eye makeup remover. I'm always a bit wary of the cream based solutions as they can sometimes coat the eyelash and become quite annoying and stubborn to wipe off, but I've had none of these problems with Nivea's solution.
Also, when I accidentally get this in my eye, I'm not swearing from top to bottom.
It removes even the darkest, most stubborn waterproof eyeliner and mascara. I don't find myself waking up in the morning with extra raccoon eyes from errant makeup that was never removed in the first place. It does a bang-up job of pretty much removing everything.
Also? $10! A win, win situation.
This used to be my makeup remover till I bought a different one since I didn't see the nivea on sale (yes I'm a thrifty chick lol). But I love this formula! It's creamy so its not drying like the liquid/alcohol based ones which is exactly what I need for my dry eyes. I also don't find it stinging and it takes off pretty much everything in a few swipes. Sometimes didn't get all my mascara off but I wash my face after so that's not a problem for me. No weird film or residue left over with this.
he formula, containing Pro-Vitamin B5, is designed to help you quickly remove mascara, even the waterproof kind, shadows, and eyeliner lines.
It is fragrance-free, dermatologist and ophthalmologist tested. It is very gentle on sensitive eye area and does not sting like some other make up removers.
I love this product!!
I agree with the previous reviewer. I used to hate using eye make-up remover because of the gross greasy feeling that it left behind.
I was using normal lotion to get rid of my makeup but it stung my eyes, so my friend recommended this!
This feels like a very light cream, and it removes everything i have ever put on without too much fuss. I don't tend to use very heavy makeup on my eyes, but this can handle liquid liner and waterproof mascara with no problems.
Best of all, it feels like its actually good for my skin, it doesn't leave a residue, and it doesn't sting at all when I get it in my eyes (especially likely at 4 am!).
All in all, an awesome product. I'll keep buying it.
I use both this eye make up remover and the gentle eye make up remover. This eye make up remover does really well with dark shadows, dark eyeliners and waterproof mascara. It is a cream base which I like more than the oily based waterproof mascara removers. It leaves your eyes moisturized but not greasy. I prefer the consistency of the gentle eye make up remover but this one has its purpose with the tough stuff and I am a believer in it.
