If you treat these like candy, these would make a great snack. Mostly sweet with a bit of tartness. Slightly oily on the outside with a chewy interior and good bite. Works well in baked goods and trail mixes. They have some fibre.
If you think that these are healthy - they are not. They are comprised of 40% sugar - not naturally occurring as they are generally very low in sugar. Many of the nutrients found in cranberries are lost here because of the processing methods. It is expensive in comparison to raisins - and not as healthy,
Good as candy. Misleading as a healthy snack.
These aren't bad. I use them in salad and oatmeal and things like that. They are flavourful, but don't be tricked into thinking they are healthy! Lots of sugar in these.
I prefer the cherry ones.
These are delicious, plump, dried cranberries, which are great for snacking on. I also put them in salads, cereal, oatmeal, couscous, as well as muffins. I just wish they wouldn't add the additional sugar.
These are great to have on hand! They're perfect for baking, salads, and rice pilafs. There are a million other uses, too, but those are my favourite.
