I did not know such a kitchen gadget existed just to help me cut vegetables and fruit evenly!

This onion holder has a easy to hold handle at the top – you can take the stainless steel odour remover out of the middle to make for an easier grip. The odour remover is used to remove the onion smell from your hands – there is some sort of science behind it, but I would rather just cut my vegetables.

The steel prongs easily cling to vegetables, hard boiled eggs, and even fruit like apples and bananas, allowing for even cuts and less waste due to not worrying about cutting my finger at the ends of the vegetable or fruit.

I used this in my 5-day meal prepping last Sunday, and it was SO helpful while I was chopping away – I do not know what I have done without this vegetable holder in the past!

It is easy to wash and comes clean easily with soap and water.

For anyone who loves their vegetables and fruit, or does major food preparation, this is a must have for the kitchen!

The tongs of the onion holder are long and quite sharp at the end, which allows them to piece even really tough vegetables like onions, carrots of turnip. All you do is stab the onion holder into the onion, right through, and then you can leave it like that as you slice between the tongs. This lets you slice out very neat pieces, and lets you keep your hands free from that horrible onion feeling.

The only negative is it doesn't have sheath, so I worry about poking myself sharply when searching for it in the kitchen drawer, it could definitely benefit from a cover of some kind.

The onion I used this to test on was actually very large, but the tongs were just long enough to get the job done. I also tried it on hard-boiled eggs and carrots, and had good results with those as well. An added bonus for this product is the fact that it comes with an odor remover, which you just pop out of the handle and rub on your hands to get rid of any smells that might have been picked up while slicing vegetables. I like that the odor remover is included in the handle, so you don't have to worry about finding it and it also feels quite nice ergonomically.
