When you first hold these scissors, the quality is clear. While they are lightweight they don't feel flimsy or cheap like some kitchen products. The blades are really, really nice and sharp. I love that these can be used for spring onions (scallots/shallots: depending on country/region) as I don't actually chop that many herbs,

How this compares to a tool like a hachoir (the single or double bladed herb chopper that can be rotated back and forth) is that these are much easier for a beginner to use. It's exactly like using scissors, but thanks to the five blades much faster. It's a nice little time saver that would be great for anyone who puts a lot of herbs on their food.

If you see a bunch of little plants growing in their kitchen, chances are they'd benefit from this as a gift! They even come with a safety storage sheath to stop you from having any accidents while rooting around in drawers. Brilliant!

    Pros:

    - Professional quality.
    - Easy to clean, dishwasher safe.
    - Timesaver for cooks who use a lot of herbs.

    Cons:
    - Could be difficult to use if you have mobility impairments.

Overall, a nice kitchen tool that works very well. Clearly good quality with nice sharp blades and very easy to clean!
