This is not a heavy use cat toy for extreme biting and chewing (as noted by other reviewers), it says it all in the title, it's a 'teaser'. This is a toy used to make your cat dance, wait until they're least expecting it and then move the toy from their grip.

If your cat is a big fan of rod toys, they'll love this one too! the mouse is very cute and light enough that it's easy to play with. The use of rope rather than elastic is a big plus! Elastic bounces around more, but tend to hit you in the face when the cat lets it go, with this you don't need to worry about that.

With the way the toy is attached to the wood, there's no chance it will be pulled off either, which is a problem I've seen in some cat toys.

Overall, a good quality rod toy for brief period of play, but the design is very cute!
