It's Al'right
For years and years, we've used the same laundry detergent (Sunlight), so we decided to try something new. We saw the OxiClean laundry detergent right next to Sunlight and so we figured, what the heck, we'll try OxiClean. After the last two months of doing the laundry with OxiClean, I can honestly say that we much prefer the Sunlight laundry detergent for the following reasons: Sunlight is more effective in getting food stains out of clothes, regardless of the cloth material. Because the first three times of laundry with Oxi didn't fully remove food stains, I ended up adding more Oxi detergent on the fourth and subsequent times of doing laundry. It still doesn't fully remove food stains. I'm giving 3 stars for effectiveness but perhaps I'm overly generous on that. I haven't tried other brands yet, though.
this is a good detergent and works well but you have to measure it out. that can be messy! it gets the stains and dirt out which is very important and that's all that i care about! recommended to everyone
I just started using this product, I purchased it when is was on sale. it seems to do a good job. the scent is not that strong which I like. overall I'm happy with this product
I have bought many different brands of detergents and this by far is one of thee worst I have tried. Our clothing was not clean as I thought it should be. The stains were not removed from our clothing and it left a funky film on our clothes. I went right back to my ole faithful.
I was quite hopeful about this detergent. I already love and use Oxy Clean on our clothes to help get out tough stains but as a laundry detergent, this fell short. We wash with Free & Clear Detergents due to skin sensitives in our home. I washed my husband's soccer gear, kitchen towels, toddler clothes: none had that fresh, clean laundry smell, stains remained on all stained items and I ended up having to rewash all loads with our normal Free & Clear detergent.
I purchased this product myself with a manufacture's coupon.
I received this product for free to review and really glad I did otherwise I probably never would have given it a chance.
The detergent did have a nice fresh scent, however, I did find that it produced a lot of suds. I kept a few baby onesies that had some stains on them and most of them came out, except the strawberry ones.
The only thing I would like to change about this product is perhaps in future if they could come out with a pod form. I personally find the liquid annoying.
I would purchase this in future for hubby's work clothes and would recommend it.
It performed the same as any other detergent. I tried it in a tough stain and it didn't take it out but nothing else would either. It cleaned the clothes well but one thing I really liked was the smell lastered a lot longer in the clothes than other detergents. I would buy it again
I was able to give this product a try thanks to Chick Advisor.
I had difficulty finding the product. I eventually tracked it down at Walmart. It would have cost $7.99 for a 38 Load bottle.
Before I used it, I found the smell quite strong. It is a "clean" smell, but not very pleasant. It lingers in the clothes, as well, but it made them smell fresh after the dryer.
The detergent was very thick. It was difficult to pour all of it into the washer.
When using it on smelly dish cloths, it removed the smell completely! It did not take out all of the food grime, however.
I have used Oxiclean powder in my laundry and Oxiclean stain spray for years. I love those products. I was a little disappointed that this product did not pack as great a punch as those did.
Overall, if the price point is low, I would recommend it. It performed about the same as my other detergents.
