I'm not usually a big fan of single-purpose kitchen utensils, but this egg slicer is really convenient. It doesn't take up a lot of room to store, and the slices are about 1/4inch thick, perfectly precise cut for sandwiches or layering over homemade savory treats.
The body is made of plastic with rubberized handles, and the wires are metal. We've had it for a few years there is no rust or damage on the wires or any sign of deterioration.
