I received a sample of Persil laundry detergent and was quite skeptical to use it, as it was a small package. I figured I might have to wash my clothes a second time as it was less than half the amount of detergent I normally use. We have soft water and I was very pleased that there was no leftover suds left in my top-load washer. It smells great as well. It's a strong smell, but was pleasant and not overwhelming. It's the first detergent that kept its scent after I dried the clothes as well! I'm a convert!!
They had a good sale of Persil Pro clean at Wal Mart a couple months ago so after smelling the Detergent (must smell awesome and It does) I snagged a couple bottles and soooo glad I did Our clothes smell so nice and fresh , Great clean on soiled clothes My husband likes to play in the mudd while out on his ATV and Persil detergeant gets trough it like nothing else! Also on my 3 year old and 5month olds sometimes soiled clothes Price is awesome after i was done with the bottles I purchased I had it down on my grocery list and again got a good sale price on an extra large spouted bottle My new fave detergeant
I purchased this new (to North America) detergent wanting to give it a try after I read a consumer reports article that now ranks it ahead of Tide. I have been quite satisfied with it. It is quite heavily scented, which is the only thing I don't love about it. I like a pleasant scent, but don't love it to linger on the clothes. I know I am in minority in this respect. From a stain fighting perspective, this detergent is better than most I have tried. I've tried the pro-clean blue liquid as well as the powder form for whites. I like both equally.
Persil ProClean Detergent is great for everyday laundry and has a extremely power formula to fight tough stains.and plus, for all machines I will definitely recommend..
I have a feeling this is an over-rated product. Persil liquid detergent doesn’t have nearly enough soap/power to clean my clothes. Not only does my laundry not look any cleaner, it has a horrible, lingering scent. Don't use on pillow cases or bed linens. So far the smell won't come out after only one wash. Stinks to high heavens!!!! I prefer Tide pods and Gain Flings. Everything comes out clean and fresh and smelling great. Unless you like smelling like a chemical factory...do not use Persil liquid laundry detergent. Stick with Tide. I will definitely not buy this product again!
This detergent will not disappoint. Whether you choose powder or liquid each option will get the job done with excellent results. I have used both the powder and the liquid and although I prefer the liquid the powder did not let me down. Whites were brighter and colors were brighter as well!
The price is at the same price point as other more premium brands , but this has become my favorite .
I have always been a fan of tide but after reading a review of Persil I decided to give it a go. Walmart had it on sale for $4.98 and it was worth the money. I love the after scent and I love that not much was needed to do the job. Laundry detergent usually irritates my skin from time to time but I am happy to say that my skin is free of irriation
I've been using this laundry detergent for a couple of months now, and I've been really impressed with its ability to clean delicate hand-washed material, and regular machine-washed clothing. The detergent itself seems lighter but does a good job of cleaning out dirt. It leaves a nice, light scent - which is much preferable to the stronger, more overpowering scents that I usually come across in other name brand detergents. On the same note, I've also never seen it leave a soapy residue on my clothing. I also really like the clear packaging so I know when I am running low on detergent and need to buy more. Even though I received this product for free, I will definitely buy it when my current bottle runs out.

If you have not yet tried Persil you do not know what you are missing.
First of all a little about me.. I am in a town with hard water. My husband is a welder and my eldest son is in construction so I can assure you the laundry is dirty.
I first tried persil during a trip to the USA about 2 years ago . I seen it was new on their shelves and it was about 11.00 USD at the time and I am a laundry queen so I got it. I was hooked.
First of all the scent is really nice. Fresh and really nice just on its own. I did not add fabric softener to my first load when i bought it to get the true effects of this scent and I loved it.
It did a fantastic job on my whites. I made this horrible choice about 3 years ago to only buy white towels and white wash clothes and they were looking really dingy before I tried persil ( I was using Tide)
After one wash with Persil they came back to their fresh white soft clean look they came with. Talk about Jaw dropping.
I wash my husband and Son's work clothes in it all the time and I have not yet once came into an issue with the soap not doing a good job.
I do everything in the Persil now.
I was over the moon when I seen this was now in Canada and that I no longer had to cross the border to get it.
I use a little more than recommended as per my hard water.
Since I love the scent I have opted for fragrance free fabric softener to keep the softness in the clothes. But you don't have to use a softener if you don't like it.
I really think this is the best soap on the market.
I love this detergent! I got a sample at Walmart and used it when i did whites and it did a fantastic job. The smell was AMAZING..... so happy i did my bed sheets with the sample. It is pretty expensive and the bottle isnt very large.... i am hoping that they will eventually come out with one for sensitive skin.
