Smells like Birthday Cake

This 3-in-1 shampoo, shower gel, and bubble bath smells like vanilla cake mix. It lathers nicely and l only have to use a small amount. It leaves my hair silky, and smooth. It leaves my skin hydrated, and smooth. It does have sulphates in this product. After using this product, my body and hair felt clean. I would recommend it to anyone who like the scent of vanilla and wants their skin and hair silky and smooth.

Great product, but pricey

Mmmm the smell of this gel is so comforting and alluring, it just draws you in! The Philosophy brand has a great and unique lineup of products, and their scents just invoke a sense of comfort, familiarity, and even whimsy! This is a great cleanser overall, although I haven't tried it as a bubble bath product. Give it a try!

Smell like cake!

I use this as a shower gel, a little can go a long way. Makes my skin feel soft and smooth after using. It smells just like vanilla cake mix! I would recommend this to someone who loves sweet scents.

Decadent

I bought a trio for myself as a treat, this was one of the fragrances. It's very silky and luxurious and I use it mostly for showering. It smells like a cakey vanilla ....it's not my favorite of the trio but it's still yummy. Pricey yes! Worth it...I'm not sure but they are a nice treat. The bottle is quite large and would last a while. Once you start you want to try the different fragrances. The fragrance also doesn't linger too long, it does lather quite well with a small amount.

I love Philosophy Shampoo, Shower Gels, and Body Baths. I used them as body wash, bubble bath, a face wash, and in a pinch, shampoo. Usually the scents are absolutely amazing. I have to admit that I wasn't thrilled with the scent of this one. Like some other reviewers have commented, mine had an odd plastic smell which was unusual for a Philosophy product. I had just purchased mine, but I suppose it could possibly have been old stock. It still cleans well and bubbles well, but the scent is just a little off. I like it, but I can't quite love it.

This did not smell like birthday cake. In fact, it smelt like vanilla pudding with a hint of plastic. I don't think the bottle that I had was that old, but the scent was slightly offputting and made me wonder if it was leaching stuff onto my gel. It worked fine as a body wash (didn't use it for any other purpose) and was not particularly moisturizing. The scent did not aggravate any sensitivities (though it did linger after a wash for a while). Would I get it again? No.

I love the scent and feel of this product. Only ever used it as a body wash, but it has a fabulous sweet smell to it. It may be a little too sweet smelling for some people's taste, and that is understandable. Has a rich lather and gets the skin very clean. Will buy again.

Took me awhile to actually start using this shower gel because of the price but I really love it. It does not have a sweet scent, and the scent doesn't linger. It is also ridiculously expensive.

wow what an amazing smell!!! good suds and leaves the body feeling clean

This shower gel smells great. It actually smells like vanilla birthday cake. It would be really handy for someone with short hair to use it as a shampoo but I found there weren't enough conditioning ingredients for my long hair. I'm also not sure that it is different enough from other products on the market to warrant the hefty price tag either.
