The best shampoo you can buy! It may seem expensive but the quality is top notch. Makes your smell great and super soft! I have never been disappointed by this brand.

Wow, this shampoo checks all the boxes! I struggle to find clean beauty that really works, Pureology has really impressed me. Not only is it sulfate free, vegan and not tested on animals, this shampoo works! I have naturally curly, long, ombré colored hair. My hair can get really tangly when I wash, but that did not happen with this shampoo. My strands felt smooth and moisturized. The scent is wonderful, sort of floral. I used this with the Hydrate Conditioner and the Color Fanatic Multi Tasking Leave-in Spray and my hair was so soft and shiny!

Pureology Hydrate shampoo works really nice. It's a creamy, purple color and has a slight lavender musky smell. My hair is medium length and I need very little because it lathers amazingly. My hair felt soft and smooth after use.The packaging is very simple and elegant, made from recycled plastic. The product itself is made the the USA and 100% vegan. I would reccomend this product.

Works wonders!

I love using this shampoo/conditioner on clients. It’s hydrating without being too heavy. It works great on my combination skin and I love the way the conditioner tingles. I’ve noticed how much softer and hydrated my own hair as felt. I love that it keeps my color and has helped me out when my hair was overprocessed

Results in 1 use

It worked so well in my wavy hair in just one use. I have very thick& wavy hair which make it necessary to wash my hair daily or every other day. My hair is dry and colored with split ends and it always really needs good Shampoo& Conditioner. Pureolgy Shampoo/Cond is a great product that required just small size amount in your hand. The shampoo lathered up while I rubbed it through my hair&scalp;. Thankful I had only a sample of the product and it didn't require a lot. The conditioner worked through my hair easily. Was told to work you Cond from bottom,and it will work it's way through. Left it in for about 5 minutes or so. I towel dried my hair. Using Shampooing and Condition, it got it so soft. Even getting the tangles out. My hair was so healthy and shiny. Definitely a product I recommend to someone with colored or damage hair.

One of the worst shampoos I've used

I have no idea how people can like this shampoo so much. I received Pureology Hydrate® Shampoo as a sample to try and review from another site. It's one of the worst shampoos I ever used.

It lathers rather badly, but takes forever to rinse out. When out, my hair felt like straw until I put the conditioner in (separate review). It does clean hair, but I feel like it never got down to my scalp.

And dear God IT STINKS! It's supposed to smell like "peppermint and corn mint essential oils". It stunk of a weird mint/ eucalyptus smell. That smell barely went away a day later.

There are many much better shampoos for dry hair and/or colored hair. I suggest checking any of those out.

Pricey but a great shampoo!

This shampoo is the only shampoo that I have used that lets me go more than a day between washes. 2 different people also asked me if I had my balayage re-done because it corrected my aging colour! This shampoo, especially when paired with the conditioner is a wonderful duo. You will definitely pay more for it, but it’s worth every penny. My hair no longer stays flat on my head like it does from other shampoos.

Worth the cost!!

It's expensive, yes. However, it's totally worth it IMO. I was on meds that destroyed my hair. I'm talking falling out in clumps and dry to the point of just snapping off. I have been using this shampoo for 3 months now and it has saved my hair. The texture of it feels completely different. This shampoo moisturizes without weighing it down. And I can go longer between washes. Make sure to combine it with the conditioner for the biggest benefit. Bonus: it's vegan- which is always a plus in my books.

Didn't work well with my hair type

I tried the other type of this shampoo (the blue bottle) and had massive problems with it. Well, the good news is this one didn't destroy my hair, but I still feel like it had a strange reaction that left my hair worse quality than before. It seemed to get greasy very quickly (within a day, I wash my hair every second day) and at the same time my hair felt more dry and crunchy than with my usual shampoo. It also left my hair feeling limp.

I gave it a few chances, but my hair just seemed to get sadder and limper with every use. Not every shampoo will be right for everyone and this one didn't work well for me. The smell and texture are both fine and unremarkable, but given the price and how it left my hair, I won't use this in the future.

Hair type: Naturally wavy, thick, short, prone to frizz, mix of coloured and greying hair.

Great product but expensive

First let me start off that this shampoo smells amazing! Furthermore you only need a little to cover your hair (mine is past armpit). However, i still noticed my hair color (toner) fading fairly quickly. It did my hair super soft, but oily after the second day of non washing.
