These wipes are cheap but even then, they aren't worth the purpose. You are way better off to use a brush cleansing spray on paper towel or shampoo them. These wipes barely even get off makeup on the surface of the bristles. These also don't seem to have much product on them.. they are very dry. I originally thought I might have gotten an old package and maybe that was why they were so dry.. but I had purchased this two more times since the first with the same result. I wouldn't repurchase and I also wouldn't recommend these to anybody. It was very disappointing because their facial cleansing wipes are fantastic.
I thought to give this product a try from Shoppers since it was on sale for $3.00 but originally $6.00.
I already had low expectation since Quo as a brand didn't work so well for me in the past. But this went waaaaay below the expectation level.
The first two wipes were damp but you can tell that the packaging didnt have weight to it in comparison to other wipes. It had an ok initial clean but there were still evident left-over product on the brush. The second time around, the wipes were dried up, as if it had already been used. It wasn't even damp so it wasn't effective for a quick brush clean after all. It was basically a textured tissue paper.
Once opened, it doesn't take long for the remaining wipes to lose its moisture. There are definitely better alternatives instead if this one. Wouldn't recommend!
Found the Shopper's Drugmart Quo Brand Brush Cleaning Wipes on sale the other day and gave them a go. I found that they worked OK - not as good as an actual wash with cleanser cleaning of course - but pretty great for a quick clean when you don't want to spend a whole lot of time waiting for brushes to dry. (They did dry really fast!) A 20 pack was on sale for $5.99 which is a pretty good value overall too.
