Remington T Studio AC Motor Hair Dryer Reviews
#2371 in Hair Care

Description

The Remington TStudio COLLECTION is a new line of salon quality styling tools featuring the latest technologies: tourmaline, titanium, and ceramic. These technologies help seal the hair cuticle to repel humidity and static which results in an incredible lasting frizz-free shine. The dryer is lightweight and ergonomically designed for comfortable handling from all angles around the head. A salon quality AC motor is within the dryer and this motor helps contribute to a faster drying time in comparison to other leading dryers with DC motors. It has 6 different power setting combinations (3 heats and 2 speeds) and includes both a concentrator and diffuser making it great for any hair type or styling need.

This hair dryer is amazingly powerful. After replacing my ConAir hair dryer which was only about 4-5 years old, I decided to go with the T|Studio which was the most expensive one at the Target store. Wow, it's powerful! So powerful, that I had to attach the little....well, thingie that concentrates the direction of air (no idea what those are called!) because otherwise the force of the blowing was so powerful it would slightly tangle my fine but plentiful hair. :)

Also, don't blow the air in your face -- did that accidentally and it stung my eyes! Now that's force. I believe it has something to do with being an AC motor instead of a DC? Anyway, it's very quiet, on the slightly heavier side, but it has tourmaline and ionic technology and everything else that's on the market these days -- it has it. Top of the line. I've had it for a few weeks now with no issues.

I would say that the placement of the buttons is a little funky. I'd recommend they switch to slider-style buttons instead of toggle, because my fingers gripping the handle tend to switch the buttons (especially the off/low/high button near the bottom of the handle).

    It really is great, though!
