While I found that the formula was similar to Lash Potion, it was the brush that sparked my interest in this new mascara. Unlike the spaced out bristles of Lash Potion, Bold Lacquer has more tight knit bristles with the same fluffy-type brush. However Bold Lacquer has a smaller brush, which you can see compared in the picture below.It adds a lot of volume at the root and gives your lashes a fluttery feel. One of the best things about this mascara is that it lasts and doesn’t smudge or transfer the mascara past the lash line. It distributes evenly to capture amazing volume and length. I liked how it coated every lash after just a few coats, and the light texture isn’t too wet. My lashes look natural and not heavy thanks to the lightweight formula. Perfect for everyday wear, this mascara doesn’t add crazy over the top drama. If you’re looking for mascara for a night out, skip this more natural mascara.

Great, affordable and effective mascara. Very dark black, will add volume and length to your lashes. Makes it easy to create the dramatic and intense look.

I like the Revlon Bold Lacquer Length and Volume Mascara. It goes on very well, no clumping. The brush is good on it as well. It lasts about 6 hours before it starts to smudge but that is pretty good since I have oily skin. It comes off easily enough as well with eye makeup remover.

This was a good mascara. Nothing to wow about though. It added a bit of volume and length but not as noticeable as some others. The biggest disappointment was how it dried out so fast. Within 2 weeks, it was completely dried up....and it wasn't an old tube, nor ever opened before using.

Nice mascara, but definitely not my favorite. Many mascaras work better than this one for a cheaper price.

I like how this mascara is blacker than the usual black. It does not smudge easily and separates my lashes well.

I tried the Revlon Bold Lacquer mascara in 001 blackest black on a whim. I was out of my Illegal lengths mascara and wanted to shake things up a bit. I LOVED this mascara. It gave me jet black long flirty lashes which did not clump together with only one coat. I've been using it for a couple months now and even repurchased it as there was a sale on at my local drugstore. It gives me length, separation and volume. My only con about it is that once in a while you will get the odd flake (however i'm also someone that rubs their eyes a lot). Besides this however, I have no complaints. It actually didn't even make my eyes water and I usually have very sensitive eyes when it comes to mascara.

Works on lengething - I do not find it to be a great thickener. It also requires quite a few coats to really show up - but the price is very reasonable and it would be a great every day product.
