I tried this when going to a banquet for my boyfriends work. I've never been particularly good with nail polish, other than the fast dry, one coat, one color method. I found that this nail polish was easy to apply, the consistency made it so that I only needed one coat (much too impatient for multiple coats!!) and looked great in the end. I also used guides and applied too thick the first time, but after the initial learning curve I got a perfect looking french manicure that dried quickly and didnt run or get smudged! :)

I decided to learn to do French Manicures (FM) at home so I went to the Shoppers and picked up the materials. I saw that this was on sale so I bought it because I have generally been pleased with Rimmel products (including their nail products) and the price was right (under $5 on sale). I also purchased FM stick on guides because I have little coordination.

I didn't know when I bought the product that it would have a brush like a liquid liner so when I went to use it so I was surprised and had to try a different technique for applying it. I used the guides the first time and because you have to sweep across the nail, instead of up and down. When I took the guides off they bled under the sticker and it looked ghetto, so I removed it and revised my strategy.

Today I decided to give it a shot without the guides and it went much better. It takes a bit of practice but if you don't have really long nails this is a great product. It's reasonably easy to get a great nail line with the brush w. a little trial and error and when you've got it down it looks good, dries fast and seems to last long.

I'm not certain that this product would be great for long nails, but if you have shorter (like 3mm of whites) this is a pretty good polish. The only thing to do now is find the perfect sheer pink top colour.
