I got the colour 403 Hypnotise. I think the colours by Rimmell are good. it's good to add a clear top coat. By itself, it doesn't last 10 days as it says. The top coat helps.
I purchased the Rimmel London French Manicure Pro French White Nail Tip Liner the other day and I also did a review on that product that you should probably check out. But once the tips were done I just had to find the perfect top colour that would make the tips look a little more natural, but not being too dark or milky. It is a difficult thing to discover as I have found.
I initially purchased Revlon 009 Sheer Pink as my top colour (and another darker purple shade for my toes, I reviewed them) but I wasn't satisfied with the colour on my nails for FM. The polish was fine buy it wasn't the look I was going for. I went back to the shoppers to get another top colour.
Initially I was going to get a different shade of pink from Revlon as it was on sale for $3.79, but I actually decided on the complimentary Rimmel product for my tip liner. Glad that I did as I got the look I was after and it was good polish.
The colour is clear rosy colour and it has a thicker brush, like a thin eyeshadow brush. It worked well with the tips and dried impressively fast.
I'll have to report back on the chipping as I just put it on.
All in all I would buy it again and I'm glad with the finished product.
I have this in electric, which is a (fairly) dark shimmery blue. I mixed it with Rimmel Black Satin polish (one coat of black and then one coat of electric on top) and got a nice deep shade of blue, but still not quite as deep as I'd like it to be. I mixed it with the black because I knew it would be too bright otherwise, but I think I need to experiment with it more. Next time I'll try 2 coats of black under this. Wear-wise it's only been 2 days but it's definitely better than other polishes I've used. I have a real problem with wear at the tips and it's noticeably better with this polish. Whether it will last 10 days remains to be seen, but I don't believe that any polish on earth can last that long without chipping or fading. But we'll see and if I remember I'll update this review. UPDATE: By yesterday (day 4) I had a lot of wear at the tips and some cracking so I took it off. No chips though, I'll say that. I think if I had a better topcoat it would last longer - I used L'oreal Pro Manicure but I don't think it's that good. It also seemed to get bluer every day, but I could just be crazy.
