The only reason I bought this Robin Hood Quick Bread Chocolate Chip Mix was because I had a coupon where I had to buy one to get one free. When I bought this one I also bought their Banana Flavoured Quick Bread Mix, witch turned out to be a big disappointment. I was hoping this one would be a different story, but it wasn’t. Along with the mix, witch is just like a boxed cake mix it also came with the chocolate chip mixture that’s needed for the centre and the top of the bread. It’s very easy to put together with just three additional ingredients, but instead of just pouring the mixed batter into your prepared baking dish you place half of the mixed better into your dish and than place half of the chocolate chips over it. Than you add the rest of the batter to that and cover that with the left over chocolate chip mixture and bake. Easy enough right? How ever once the bread is baking and cooled enough to remove from your baking dish, it doesn’t come out of the pan in a whole loaf of bread like it should. In stead the top half falls off right where you placed the chocolate chip mixture layer and you end up with a loaf of bread sitting in two half’s. But that’s not the worse of it; the worse part is the taste. We didn’t care for it at all because it came out very dry and flavourless witch was another big disappointment. Do to this I can’t recommend you buy Robin Hoods Quick Bread Mix Chocolate Chip, or any of their other Quick Bread Mixes.
