There's definitely some menthol or something similar in these cooling eye drops, meaning it does burn a little bit upon application. The good news is, that definitely makes your eyes water, helps flush anything in them and gives immediate relief.

Unfortunately, though I didn't find that relief lasted and actually felt my eyes dried up quicker, so I don't think I'd buy this type again, though I'd have another go at this brand as a different formula might suit me better.

One thing I wish other manufacturers would pick up is the bottle design. Unlike pharmacy bought eye drops, this doesn't continue to drip and releases one drop at a time. The cap is also very easy to get on with your eyes closed.
