I have a pair of yoga pants that are a little too long so it's super handy to have this fabric tape to adjust the length. It works pretty well but I have to admit that having pants hemmed still looks cleaner and more polished.

I do think this is a good product to have as a temporary fix or if you're not sure how much to hem your pants - you can use the tape the adjust the length without having to commit to a certain length right away. So I think it's a good product for a temporary fix but would still prefer to hem my pants permanently for a cleaner look.

I received this item for free to review. Fantastic! I love this item. I have a pair of pants that, depending on what shoes I wear, are either just right or too long. So I used this on a day I was wearing my shoes that my pants fell a little too long, and it was great. Very easy to put on, and take off. Stayed up fine with no issues even with a busy day walking around. Love it!

These worked great I had a party to go to and my friend lent me a pair of jeans but the length was long so I used these bad boys so I could use them and just remove when I return her jeans and they stayed put all night.

I received this product for free from ChickAdvisor and I was really excited to put it to use. I find a lot of my dress pants with invisible hems tend to fall or come undone. We don't often use the services of a dry cleaner so it's kind of a pain to take a pair of pants into the tailor for just one hem. I tried it out on a pair of my pants and they looked great. I've washed them about 5 times and the hem is still holding. I don't know how long this would last but ti's a great option for a quick fix! Overall I was impressed.

I actually really enjoyed this product. I have a pair of pants where one leg the pant has come undone. Using the hem tape actually kept its hold!
I was even able to go all day, at work and no falling of the tape. If you're in a bind, this is a GREAT thing to keep on hand if you notice a hem coming undone!

Adjustable Hem Tape by Scotch Essentials - WOW what an invention! Imagine being able to buy a pair of pants and have them the right length for both flats/sandals and heels. Buying pants for both lengths meant having them drag on the ground without heels and becoming dirty and unsightly. That is now a thing of the past.

With adjustable hem tape you use the double sided tape for temporary hemming. Takes a bit of time to get everything even, especially if you are super picky, but has great results. Don't forget to remove the tape before washing/dry cleaning or ironing and there will be no permanent damage. It is a bit pricey at $9.99 for 24 strips, but well worth it for the convenience and damage control for pants. Depends on how much you would use them.

I only tried it on pants - however, I can see it would be great also for skirts or dress' for changing up the style.

ive always hated buying new pants. They are always too long.
It's also a struggle to find the perfect length for heels and flats. Which is impossible.

The Adjustable Hem tape is fanstastic because I can determine the length depending on the shoes. It doesn't have the perfect result as a tailor would provide but I think it's perfect for a quick fix. It is a little pricey but very worth it just for the convenience

I was super excited to try the permanent hem tape that came with the sample pack, but the adjustable hem tape was just a bonus for me. I'm tall and my pants and skirts are typically too short already. This adjustable hem tape would come in handy when adjusting the hem of other clothing items, like t-shirts and blouses. You know when you have a t-shirt with sleeves that do not lie flat against your arms and you want to wear a cardigan without sleeve bulges? This product helps with that! It hems t-shirt sleeves effortlessly and they stay up all day long. There is a bit of sticky residue once you remove the tape, but I'm hoping that it comes out in the wash. After using the tape on a tee, I have decided that it can likely be used on a blouse as well...as long as the material isn't too sheer or drapey. Aside from the residue issue, the only con would be the price. $9.99 for 24 disposable strips seems a bit steep for me. I don't think I would pay this much to purchase the product in the future.

We all have them. Those pants that are just a bit too long or that skirt with the hem that's fallen apart. I normally just deal with it; roll up the pants, only wear them with heals, or get out the trusted safety pin. I would love to hem them permanently but I worry that I would sow them up the wrong length and make matters worst. Scotch Essentials Adjustable Hem Tape solved this problem. It goes on quick and easy and leaves me with the piece of mind that if I need to make an adjustment, I CAN!

The Adjustable Hem Tape is pretty neat, who would think a little tape would make my life so much easier. The results are awesome especially with my ever growing children. This is much less effort than hemming the pants. I was able to customize it for my different needs. I will definitely purchase this item again. My friends already know about it because I'm so impressed with the results. I've been telling anyone that will listen.
