Im a huge SATC fan! Ive seen all tv show episodes million times and same with the movies. I just love those girls and their characters. Problems and doubts that we deal with in real life too. You will be up for some sentiment, laugh, maybe few tears and good time in general.

Definitely not as good as the first, BUT don't listen to the critics. If you are a die hard SATC fan like myself, you need to see this movie. It was surprisingly funny, and I really thought it was surprisingly good.

The fashion was sometimes over the top and completely unrealistic, but at points it was a total feast for the eyes. AND the jewelry and shoes were to die for.

Oh - and I will only mention one thing....the AIDEN Cameo alone makes it worth your hard earned cash....best.cameo.ever.

Glad to see the gals still looking fabulous in their 40's. It makes me feel better about my laugh lines ;)

Ok so the critics hated it. But we don't watch SATC for the plot complexities or intellectual stimulation. We watch it to catch up with our favourite girls, get an eye full of clothes porn and live vicariously through their lavish lifestyles. And that's exactly what this was.

First, let's talk about The Clothes. I don't think they could possibly top the clothes if they were ever to do a 3rd movie. They were outrageous. They were wonderful. They were hideous. There were times people in the theatre groaned or clapped at The Clothes. The dessert scene for example where all 4 characters looked like they'd taken a wrong turn on route to a Halloween party. Have a look at Samantha's headdress, will you? Does it make you cringe?

Carrie walks around the spice market in the most ridiculous 80s outfit complete with rocker t-shirt and long pouffy flowing skirt where she proceeds to buy a gross looking pair of shoes with horns on them. But would we have it any other way?

Boobs are like the 5th cast member, whether they're Carrie's looking like they're either going to pop or bounce right out of one of her many strapless dresses, or Charlotte's Nanny who doesn't believe in bras.

Now to the plot. I'm fairly sure there was one, but I was distracted by The Clothes and then by the decor in both of Carrie's apartments. I can tell you that there is a bit of drama and that I didn't find it to be entirely predictable, but it certainly has less depth than the series.

I don't think Sex and the City fans will be disappointed, but don't bring your cynical friends to watch it with you as there is enough for them to poke fun at that it might ruin it for you. Watch it by yourself or with your girliest friends and just enjoy it. It will definitely make you laugh. Whether it's with or at depends on you. I have to admit I enjoyed it and I would watch it again.

There were scenes that were heartwarming that made me really miss the original series like the moments between Charlotte and Miranda where they discuss motherhood over cocktails. But then there were scenes where I was so embarrassed for the cast that I watched them through my fingers. Like the 4 of them doing karaoke. Badly. Yet the producers are trying to convince us that this is a powerful moment of sisterhood that enraptured the audience and made them the stars of the party.

And then there was Aidan. I'm not going to tell you what happens. But at one point during our screening someone yelled (at Carrie) "You don't deserve him!" That was a crowd pleaser.
