I purchased the Shany Cosmetics 40 Count Eye Shadow Palette off of Amazon. I was unsure about the quality, as the price was quite low ($15 for 40 shades) but was blown away! The 40 count includes some shimmer eye shadows, as well as some neon and brights, and some more tame colours, and all of them had great pigment, smooth application, and you don't have to use a lot to get a nice, bright application of colour. Usually, the cheap shadows cause me to break out, or burn when on my eyes, but this brand seems to work well, seems to be relatively hypo-allergenic despite not being advertised as such, and the colours stay put without creasing or running. I have hyper-hydrosis, so my face sweats, especially around my eyes, and this eye shadow didn't seem to be affected by that. It lasts for hours, and the pigments stays strong. The price was great, quality was awesome, what more could you ask for, really, in a make-up palette? Also, it has both warm and cold colours, so it's well suited for anyone! As for the shipping of the palette, the company protects the shadows from cracking or falling apart by placing a plastic strip between the palette and roof of the container, and also wrap the palette in bubble wrap before placing it in the Shany box. That doesn't include the packaging that Amazon used to protect the product.
