My husband bought me this for Xmas last year. No he’s not a jerk, I asked for it after I tried my mother’s new Shark Deluxe Steam Mop. He didn’t want to buy it for me for Xmas, but I insisted that that’s what I wanted so he did. By the way he also bought a nice pare of diamond earrings to go with the mop. LOL
Any how I just love this mop. After vacuuming my floors all I have to do is add water to my steam mop and it cleans like a dream. No more bending down to ring out dirty old mops and washing floors with dirty water near the end of the job and you don’t have to buy replacement cleaning cloths and cleaning solutions like you have to with the Swiffer mop systems. When you’re mopping you can see the dirt that the Shark deluxe steam mop picks up on the micro fiber cloths that come with it. It’s amazing just how much dirt is really there that you can’t see. The Shark deluxe steam mop comes with five micro fiber cloths and a glider to help you refresh your carpets in between cleaning them. The cleaning cloths go right in your washer, with no fabric softener and you just lay them to dry and you’re done. The Shark deluxe steam mop can be used on most floors such as laminate, tile and hardwood floors. Its light weight so you’re not in pain afterwards, it has a 25 foot cord that will allows you to clean about 1,000 sq. feet before having to plug it in else where, no toxic chemicals are needed, so it healthy for everyone and there’s no need to dry your floors after washing because the micro fiber cloths do that for you.
There are only two things that I don’t like about this mop and it has to do with its design not how well it works. The mop head doesn’t swivel around on this type, witch can make it a bit tricky to use. You have to be more careful using it because if you're not, the handle may break off the mop head. The second thing I don’t like about it is, every time you have to refill the water tank with more water, you have to unplug it. It doesn’t have an on off switch on the handle where you’d think they would have put one. So that part can be a bit time consuming if you have a lot of floors to wash. Other then that I think the Shark Deluxe Steam Mop does a great job on my floors.
