This smaller set of pencils includes one of each basic set of colors and is perfect for anyone who doesn't need much more than that, or want them as a complement to a larger pencil set.

They blend well, don't smudge after a second of 'setting' and aren't prone to breaking even when I'm leaning very heavily on them. They also put down a lot of pigment, but still look good when shading gently.

The only improvement to be made is to add the color names to the pencils themselves. It's not a huge issue on a pack this small, but on a bigger pack would be essential.

That said, they color great, blend well and avoid the breakage I've seen in some of the more expensive brands, so it's a yes from me!
