I have been wanting to try a sonic facial brush for ages- and Silk'n price is very competitive. Here are some features to consider: waterproof (can/will you use it in the shower), sonic vibration vs oscillation, battery vs charger cradle, and variety (and availability) of brush heads.
The Silk'n DermBeaute vibrates (the whole brush vibrates). The only one with oscillation is a high-end brush, but it's exceedingly expensive to buy and also replace it's heads every 3 months. Dermbeaute could not be easier and more ergonomic - so easy to use and clean. It's water resistant and has a slim profile stand for the counter. There are 5 brushes-heads included in this set (covering everything from delicate to normal to thick skins) - I'm making it a home-spa multi-tasker. The heads are exceptionally easy to change. You don't need a whole separate device for increasing absorption of creams like with other brands. The 3-pronged soft-tip micro-massage head is magic - my fave use is to gently circle the occipital bone moving towards the nose under the eye area (which increases lymphatic drainage and does not stress the delicate eye muscles). Follow the bone and don't apply pressure. I love the peeling brush as well - it's great for the slightly rough skin on my neck and as a once-a-week facial (if you have thin or delicate skin you can use the extra soft as your daily brush and normal as your peeling brush). The real reason for the sonic brushes is deep cleansing - and my skin felt cleaner and more smooth from the first time I used it. You feel the vibration in the brush tips without any pressure at all - and it's comfortable and relaxing to use. I had to learn to put no pressure on the unit. It creates beautiful lather even with my low-lather cleanser. Skin feels great and looks smoother, more radiant and is perfectly prepared to absorb serums, creams, or light therapy.
I wish it had a charging cradle, but I know that would escalate the costs. Value for cost is excellent in this product
