I first saw this movie on cable when I really started coming into my own - I was getting into my own groove with punk music, writing, and not caring about "fitting in" at school.

This movie fit me.

Of course I was already in love with Matthew Lillard.

I wasn't apart of the initial "true punk" scene though I have heard this film was not an accurate description, as it followed the every day routine of the 2 lone punks in Salt Lake City (another criticism is that the midwest didn't even have a punk scene?) But who cares. This movie was an entertaining monologue-esque film that really fit what I was feeling at 16 years old.
