Got a free sample in my mailbox. Really good! Smooth and reduces the look of lines and larger pores. Good base that won't dry out skin. Easy to apply makeup over.

Love it but not for me.

I first tried this with a Smashbox sample kit and loved it. After a while it's like my skin rejected it and got oily after an hour of it and some makeup on. It's a shame because when my skin didn't react to it, it worked amazing.
It feels so smooth on the skin and very lightweight!

Don’t waste your money

I bought this primer because I loved the way it felt on my face but when you put it on it turns into a smudge of white clumps. At first I thought it was just me but after investigating the product it is a common complaint. Shame on the company for selling an inferior product at a high price.

Flawless Skin/Canvass before the Foundation

This primer is my go to right now. It leaves my face before foundation feeling primed & ready. Not oily or greasy and perfect for the smooth flawless finish Im wanting. I have repurchased this twice now and havent found another product yet I like more. Slightly on the pricey side but worth the money. I highly recommend trying if you havent already.

Not For Me!

I know the SMASHBOX PHOTO FINISH FOUNDATION PRIMER IN CLEAR is a cult favourite among beauty artists everywhere but I don't see the hype of this product. I have combination to oily skin and was so excited when I did my research and found that this product is great for all skin types!... wrong. It did not help my oily skin at all and I found that I had to blot and re apply powder much more throughout the day then I normally do. My face felt heavy and sticky and the product lasted for maybe 5 hours. It's winter time to boot so I can imagine that it would last even shorter time in hot weather.

It did help with the visibility of pores and fine lines in which the primer did help them become less visible and my makeup was really easy to apply. The primer honestly feels 'silky' which is really nice I just wish it had more lasting power and did not bring out the oils on my face. I also love the addition of vitamins A & E which is supposed to help you from stress, damage and etc.

Overall this product isn't terrible but I would not recommend it to anyone who has oily skin. For those with dry or normal skin I think it would be a game changer!

Love it

I have been using this primer and it’s been amazing. Without it, my makeup doesn’t stay put, and even worse, my skin is all oily and shiny. This primer really acts like a primer for my foundation, concealer and blush/bronzer/highlighter. It lets my make up stay on pretty much for 10 hours.

Great makeup primer!

I was recently given Smash box primer as a gift and was delighted to see that it made my skin feel silky instead if oily and kept my makeup fresh all day!

Buy again product great for occasional use!

I redeemed points to receive this product free at Shopper's Drug Mart. The price is definitely very steep but worth it if you're into higher end makeup, or have a specific event you'll need you make up to last for.

The product does exactly what it says it does! It helps lessen the size of my pores, making them almost invisible. It also keeps my make up lasting all day long. Not only does my make up last, but it still looks good at the end of the day.

The product is very lightweight and unnoticeable underneath a foundation. It's not too thick and doesn't make you feel like your makeup is caked onto your face. Being so light it means that it doesn't clog my pores or cause any breakouts.

I'll definitely buy this product again, but due to the price will probably only use it on occasion. I'll stick to a cheaper product for everyday use.

Not a fan

This primer just made my foundation feel like it was sliding around my face when I was applying it and didn't seem to help with even coverage. It also did nothing to reduce or prevent my face from looking oily later in the day.

Light and effective

I love this product. It really helps your make up last ALL day, and it's so light, it almost feels like you're wearing nothing extra under your foundation.
