I'm a lipbalmaholic. When I have a bad day, I go out and treat myself to a new lip gloss or balm to feel better. In this case, it definitely worked! I love the retro container and soft, pinky colour of the balm. The smell is nice and light and doesn't irritate me. For me the test is how it feels when I rub my lips together - smooth, not goopy and not gritty. While I'm not thrilled with finger application, after I have put it on my lips I rub the excess on my cuticles to soften them. Double duty! reviews In my purse I probably carry about 6 different lip glosses, but the one item that I can never leave home without is my Rosebud Salve. When I don't have time in the morning to put on makeup, I apply it to my lips and it will last for hours. The other great thing about it is that it enhances the natural colour of my lips. reviews Smith's Rosebud Salve is a lovely multipurpose product. I was a skeptic at first since how great can it be, especially if it supposedly does so many things? (Jack of all trades, master of none syndrome.) The best thing about this is that you can't beat the price. And it lasted me forever because you only need a dab. It did feel like it moisturized my lips pretty well, but I thought it smelled really strange and the texture is pretty thick and sticky. The biggest problem is that I don't like products that come in jars or tins because I have to use my fingers (I'm a bit of a germophobe!). I wouldn't buy this again for a lip balm, but I would recommend it for dry cuticles and rough elbows & heels. I love this balm because it's a multi-purpose product. My lips always feel moisturized and soft and I can use it on my cuticles and my baby's sensitive skin.
