reviews I bought this from the 'As Seen On TV' Store in my local mall. The shopkeeper had said that she used it and it worked well for her. I had seen the ads and it looked promising. However, this product did not work for me. It had patchy results on my legs and I have rather fine leg hair. This was a waste of my money, unfortunately. I tried it on my legs first and it worked, so I tried it on my upper lip area. OWW! Don't use it for your face! So I tried it on my legs a week later and it didn't work. OK, Maybe I needed a new pad. So I switched it and it still didn't work. [ back to top ] This review is the subjective opinion of a ChickAdvisor member and not of ChickAdvisor Inc. I got this by mail through my book club (odd place to get it i know.) I mainly wanted it for facial hair ( I have black hair and am always paranoid that I am developing a mustache) [ back to top ] This review is the subjective opinion of a ChickAdvisor member and not of ChickAdvisor Inc. Absolutely hated this product. I had such high hopes after watching the infomercials so many times and even after reading people's reviews on the net! reviews First of all, let me just say that I was extremely skeptical to try this product. It took me probably two months to actually work up the courage to actually go and buy the product. I bought it at my local CVS Pharmacy for $9.99 which is really cheap. I planned on returning it in case it didn't work. I had looked everywhere on the internet for reviews and got mixed reviews. If you have heard reviews about this product, I really suggest you try it on yourself first because everyone is different. Anyways, when I opened it, it came in a cute travel pack and had a small piece of instructions. It was really simple, move the pad in 3 clockwise circular motions and 3 times counter clockwise. I took a deep breath and made a little prayer hoping that it worked. I was amazed at the results. It worked great! The hair was completely gone! As an added bonus, the skin was left totally smooth! The hair grew back quite slow as well. It didn't take nearly as long as people had told me and the pads were really smooth themselves. If you have a chance to buy this product, I strongly recommend this. There are no ingrown hairs, the skin is exfoliated, and you can use it anywhere! You should definitely try this product! I did and I love it! reviews I never buy the "as seen on TV" things, they always seem way too good to be true. However, I was in the Showcase store at the mall and noticed the Smooth Legs item which I had seen previously on TV and of course was skeptical. However, the girl at the store allowed me to try before I buy, which I did, and I thought to myself--WOW! I could not believe it! It was seriously just like buffing away the hair on your legs with a buffing pad. It does leave your skin "white" and dusty looking, however, it is just your dead skin from the buffing and so some moisturizer or lotion right after does the trick. No nicks/cuts or ingrown hairs! reviews Sorry, but this product does not work for me,I think its because I have very course leg hair, though it may work on someone else with course hair, its no good for me I will stick with shaving [ back to top ] This review is the subjective opinion of a ChickAdvisor member and not of ChickAdvisor Inc. It takes awhile to remove hair but it does what it says! It leaves my legs feeling smooth but it lasts usually only a few days. It's quick and easy because I can do it while I'm watching tv. The first time I used it on my upper lips, it did somewhat burn for a bit but the other times I have used it, I've bee careful to not put as much pressure and it removes hair there too! reviews Worst product ever! It left scabs on my upper lip after trying to remove hair. It takes forever for the hair to come off on your legs...I would not recommend this product at all. Its like rubbing sand paper on your body (although sandpaper would be more effective!) [ back to top ] This review is the subjective opinion of a ChickAdvisor member and not of ChickAdvisor Inc. | ||
