SoundPEATS Bluetooth Earbuds are absolutely phenomenal for a variety of reasons with only two reasons this reviewer would think any possible changes could be made. First pairing these to my Samsung S3 was extrordinarily easy, with no pin code required I simply presses the MFB button located between the + and - buttons and my phone immediatly paired with the SoundPEATS Bluetooth Earbuds by selecting "Q11" from the list of available devices. Call clarity is very very good without the tunnel effect of some bluetooth ear pieces. Basic functions of these SoundPEATS Bluetooth Earbuds is great for those who may not be technically inclined and are easily understood in the instruction manual.
As for the buttons and what they do, no problem. MFB turns the ear buds on when held for 1 second after being powered off, pressing and holding MFB for three seconds brings them out of standby mode. Should an issue arise perhaps with bluetooth pair a long press of the MFB button while they're charging will reset them to factory default. Volume up or down whether listening to music or on a call is accomplished by a short press of the + or - buttons when you've reached absolute minimum volume you'll hear a faint beeping noise, however when maximum volume is reached a subdued female voice with an English accent will say "Maximum Volume", a very handy feature.
To answer calls is a breeze simply press the MEN button once, the same is done to end that call. Call rejection is accomplished by pressing the MFB button for one second. If you need to redial the last outgoing call double press the MFB button, muting is done the very same way while on a call, brilliant.
These SoundNESS Bluetooth ear buds take no time at all to charge a mere 2 hours as indicted by the blue LED light located on the right ear piece which also blinks when paired successfully to your device.
As for comfort of these ear buds, absolutely wonderfully SoundPEATS includes 2 pairs of Semi-closed ear tips in medium and small sizes, best suited for making phone calls, and 3 pairs of closed ear tips ideal for listening to music.
As for music quality and the sensation these SoundPEATS ear buds generate all I can say is WOW. These ear buds rival high end brands and at the risk if dating myself are reminiscent of the Panasonic Shockwavehead phones, the bass is dynamic without being intrusive, mid range sounds as well as treble are very crisp.
As for my only issues with these ear buds a shorter press of the + and - buttons to shuffle thru songs would be great and for some reason I cannot shuffle thru songs while I play a downloaded game however these are very minor issues and not something to detract from how truly amazing these SoundPEATS ear buds really are.
These bluetooth headphones are designed to be easy to use in the gym, on the go, or at home, and I found that they held up very well in a variety of situations. When moving around, they stayed snugly in my ears and didn't move, and they had no problems with sweat. They're also very light, so you won't find them distracting when running or moving a lot with these on.
Setting up these headphones was very simple. Sync them to your phone or MP3 player, and they can be controlled with the three buttons on the microphone that's attached to the wire. These headphones do a good job of fitting in a lot of the controls you will need into three little buttons, including adjusting volume, starting/stopping calls, pausing and playing music, skipping tracks, and so on. It takes some time for you to learn all the controls, but once you do I found they were very useful and faster than other sets. I was annoyed by the placement of the controls however. For the microphone it's perfect, hanging just near the side of your face and your mouth. But I found reaching up to that spot to adjust music was annoying, and looked odd. I would have preferred if the controls were on the headphones themselves.
These headphones come with a few different in-ear bud sizes you can try, and the over-the-ear hook help keeps them steady. However because the hook is not very big, my husband could not be comfortable use these. He has much bigger ears than me, but he said that the hooks were too small and that the headphones kept falling out of his ears as a result. I had no such problems and have average sized ears, but people with large ears may want to keep that in mind.
Overall, these headphones are good, with really solid audio quality and a good microphone for making calls. They are priced at what I would consider the high end for a product like this, but they do the job.
+ Comes with various earbud sizes.
+ Easy to set up.
+ Good microphone and audio quality.
+ Lightweight design.
+ Lots of controls squeezed into 3 buttons.
- Not a great fit for big ears.
- Microphone/controls located in a spot I found annoying to reach.
