Retro alien baddies descend down your Nintendo DS, bringing with them heat and nostalgia dolled up for the modern age of gaming - that's Space Invaders Extreme 2.As the name suggests, this is the sequel to Taito and Square Enix's initial PSP and DS game from 2008. This time around, however, the graphics have been have become even more weird and, of course, wonderful.So, what to expect? Well, it's a little more complicated than the Taito cabinet original. This time around, if you shoot the same coloured aliens, you'll get a bonus weapon to be used against those self same foes. You'll also be racking up the points at double-quick speed in comparison to the original given that Square has touched up the scoring system this time around.
