I own this series and I've read it a couple of times! My absolute favourite of Stephen King's books. (With the Stand a close second!)

I did find the Gunslinger took awhile to get into, but after that, the next books I flew through them. Wonderful writing and draws you right into the story.

I love Stephen King's novels but this series was the best I've ever read...took me only 1 week to read them all. The suspense on wanting to know what happened next made me want to skip a few chapters and read ahead but i didn't cause i was scared i'd miss a major detail. Two thumbs up :)

This is the best Stephen King series that I have read and I haven’t even finished the series yet. King is one of the best when it come’s to scaring you out of your mind and making you want to sleep with the light’s on, but these books won’t so much as scare you as they will capture your imagination. From the first book King wrote in this series, The Dark Tower he grabs you and makes you want more. This series took King years to write twenty two to be exact, witch left most of us King fans dying for more and rushing out to grab up the next book as they became available. These books not only capturer your imagination they have extraordinary art work with in them as well. In the first book King introduces us to his Gunslinger who gather’s up the other’s that he needs to fight along side of him to reach the Dark Tower. Here is a bit from one of the books, “The child of the Devil is being carried inside Sylvia Pittson! The man in Black has done the dirty deed by impregnating the enormous minter with the seed of the supreme being of evil-the Crimson King himself! And the Gunslinger Roland Deschain will not leave the cursed town of Tull until he has forcibly removed the demonic thing from Pittson’s very womb!” This is just a bit of what the King has to offer us in this amazing series. Now that he has finally finished the Dark Tower series you can start at the beginning and take the winter to read the entire series. If you enjoy this type of a read then you won’t be disappointed, but you might scare yourself!
