I have very versatile hair, it can be blow-dried strait (with product), and wavy with the help of a big barrel curling iron and curly if I use sun silk’s captivating curl gel!

I swear by this product to get curly hair. If I let my hair dry naturally it's a wavy/straight combination, but this product really enhances the look by making my hair big and curly. I have a technique to get it curly though, so pay close attention...

1. Section hair into 3 parts, one chunk on each side of the head and one chunk in the back of the hair
2. Do a double pump of product in your hand, rub hands together and start scruching product into hair from the root to the tip - do this for all sections
3. Hairspray

Voila! Hopefully it works for all of you as effectively as it does for me!

I was drawn to this bottle at Shoppers Drug Mart because it was on sale (who can really resist a sale tag?) and it is SO fun looking! However that’s where my love affair with this product pretty much ends. I find it’s really hit or miss with how it leaves my hair. Some days after using a couple of pumps on damp hair as it recommends, my hair looks great. On other days my hair seems to fall flat, and I don’t have flat hair to begin with! I cannot be bothered to use hair products that have mood swings like this, so I don’t use this product religiously, nor will I likely be repurchasing it.

I should also note, (this is more my own fault than product default but I think its worth mentioning anyway) I dropped my bottle on the floor once, and the little pump popped off. So I tried to pop it back on (which wasn’t any trouble) but it seemed to not be connecting with the actual pump itself, and thus my fairly new bottle was rendered completely useless. Let this be a lesson: cool bottles do not necessarily equal quality product!! DO NOT be sucked in by packaging.

I've recently gotten back the curls I had as a child. Must be some hormonal change thing. I'm 33 and I have boingy curls I have not had since 4th grade.
Anyway, I'm enjoying this "new" hair and needed new products to style it with. I bought Sunsilk Captivating curls shampoo a while back, and my daughter and I share it all the time. We both love it. But I needed a product to tame frizzies that did not make my hair dry or crunchy, and this stuff is great. It is a gel and a creme in the same bottle, and as you pump a bit of both come out. You just rub it in your palms and then through wet hair. Air dryer for a tighter curl or blow dry / diffuse for a loose curl.

The image upload is not working, but I'll let you know it is in a green see-through pump. Photo is here:
