This shawl had an interesting history behind it. It was sold by a non profit organization in Cambodia that helps the locals through their community development programmes. The shawl itself has a intricate design that is unique in nature and is made with Cambodian silk. It is thick - like a dupioni - which kept me warm during cooler nights. It was not the best for cold winter days - but worked fine when it was over 0. Not the softest silk, but it is certainly a resilient silk.
