Tampax Radiant Pearl Tampons

I received this product free to test as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club, but after I received them I found out that I am pregnant so I gave them to my sister to try out on the condition that she helped me give a review.
When I received the product I was impressed with the package design. It's very pretty and appealing. I noticed that the tampon wrappers themselves were more discreet since they are soft plastic instead of paper and I thought that the idea of making them a pouch to put the applicator in afterward was a good idea. In general I prefer a plastic applicator to a cardboard applicator because they are gentler and more comfortable to use, but I usually buy the cardboard ones anyway because they are cheaper. Once my sister tried this product, she said that the tampon seemed like other Tampax tampons; good absorbancy, comfortable, and effective. Overall, she felt and I would imagine that these are the same as the rest of the Tampax tampons aside from the packaging. I would probably only buy them on sale, but that's because I'm cheap and I am even willing to forgo comfort to pay less.

I was very excited to try the Tampax Radiant Pearl Tampons. As with the other products in the Radiant line, I liked the packaging; it was appealing and eye-catching. As far as how well the product worked, it was on par with the plain old Tampax cardboard applicator and OB tampons that I typically use. The radiant pearl tampons have a plastic applicator which is easy to use and has fairly good grip. The packaging that is around the tampon itself is pretty discreet since it is a soft plastic so it doesn't really rustle when you are opening it which is nice. The package does make it easy to pop the applicator back in for disposal, but I find most brands do that anyways. I think the product works well, but I find that Tampax has other lines that work equally as well, are a little cheaper, and slightly more environmentally friendly. I wouldn't ignore the product but I probably won't switch unless the price comes down. I would tell others about the product though.

I love the box, I love the colour, sparkles, very girlie! I really like that each tampon has a resealable package.Makes is so easy to toss in the garbage.

These tampons were very comfortable and you'd never know they were there. I had no leaks whatsoever and really liked them.

Starting off with the box, I love the colour, sparkles, and design! It's eye-catching and cute. When I opened the box, I really enjoyed the fact that each tampon has a resealable package. I love this feature. It makes everything more discrete and easy! This is one of the major selling features of the product for me. But then you open it up and there's more colour! My usual brand is U by Kotex and I like it for the fact that they're colourful, so these definitely compare.

I found the applicator easy to use and typical compared to other brands. These tampons were super comfortable and you'd never know they were there. I had no leaks whatsoever and really liked them. They definitely rival my usual brand but the resealable packaging may just convince me to make the switch.

Overall, I like these and can definitely see myself purchasing them in the future. Thank you Chick Advisor for letting me try out great products!

My experience with these tampons has been fantastic.
They are extremely absorbent and comfortable.

My favorite thing about these tampons has to be the applicator as well as the packaging.
The applicator itself is plastic, purple, and adorable. If they designed a tampon specifically for a princess, I’m sure this is what it would look like!
So why shouldn’t we all feel like princesses during our periods? With these tampons, we can!

The plastic applicator also made insertion a breeze! No more fussing with uncomfortable cardboard applicators, this one is not only comfortable but easy to use.

The packaging is probably the best design for a tampon that I have ever seen. It keeps your tampons safe and discreet until you use them and then allows you to dispose of used tampons with ease.
The packaging is re-sealable allowing you to dispose of tampons sanitarily and with discretion.

And all of this comes wrapped up in a super cute purple box!

I would definitely purchase Tampax Radiant Pearl Tampons in the future! For the comfort, the effectiveness, the cuteness and the discretion!

I rarely use tampons, but as part of the ChichAdvisor Product Review Club I gave them a try. These tampons may change my mind on using them. Insertion was made easier and more mess free due to the textured grips on the applicator. I found that the actual tampons were super soft so they were comfortable to wear too. I didn't find I had any leakage so that is a major bonus. In terms of cost I'd say they are comparable to other brands however I would choose this brand over the others because of the ease of use and their effectiveness. I'd seriously consider using these tampons on a regular basis!

I ABSOLUTELY loved this product for various reasons!!
1st: Love the way the wrapper is able to open and close - great for dispensing the applicator afterwards!! (not a fan of trying to fit them back into a little hole like the other brands!)
2nd: the color of the applicator made me happy! it even has sparkles!!
3rd: the protection is great, especially the super tampons- lasted a lot longer with no leakage!

I have permanently switched to this brand, as the packaging has me in lala land with the coolness of it!

my only complaint thus far is that you can not purchase a multi pack like regular and super in the same box!

I received a sample and loved it. The outer packaging is resealable which is very convenient and the protection is amazing. I find these protect better than most and are easy to insert with a plastic applicator.
