WARNING: Thank You For Smoking "just might make you laugh your head off!" (MAXIM). Aaron Eckhart stars as Nick Naylor, a sexy, charismatic spin-doctor for Big Tobacco who'll fight to protect America's right to smoke -- even if it kills him -- while still remaining a role model for his 12-year old son. When he incurs the wrath of a senator (William H. Macy) bent on snuffing out cigarettes, Nick's powers of "filtering the truth" will be put to the test. As Nick says, "If you want an easy job, go work for the Red Cross." Directed by Jason Reitman.

Thank You for Smoking is a pretty great movie. I usually like satire movies, and this was awesome. Definitely worth watching. Any movie that can get a strong emotional reaction is a movie worth seeing. And this one delivers.
Thank You For Smoking (movie) is based on the book of the same name, which I'll admit I have not yet read.
The movie follows a Big Tobacco industry lobbyist and spin doctor, who basically is out to protect America's right to light up. Outrageous subject matter delivered in a satirical way that will have you laughing, tsking, agreeing, loudly disagreeing, and thoroughly entertained by the end.
One of my favourite actors Aaron Eckhardt stars, as do megawatt talents Rob Lowe, William H. Macy, Robert Duvall and others. Don't take this movie too seriously or you'll miss the humour. Great flick!
