Not a fan of the smell
A good hand cream and its got quite a bit of product for its cost. I hate the packaging of these types of products. It's just messy and difficult to squeeze the product. The smell is overwhelming and I just don't like it.
A Meh hand cream for those with extra dry skin.
I used to love this hand cream, but the formula has changed in the past few years and it is not nearly as effective.
It goes on greasy and takes a really long time to absorb. It doesn't last as long as you would expect for such a greasy, slow absorbing product. 3 hours tops.
It has an interesting earthy scent. I kind of like it but I can understand why others don't. The scent does linger for a bit on the skin but it's pretty faint and does fade after 10 or so minutes.
its good enough
i was left a bit unsatisfied with this hand cream. i expected it to be super moisturizing and soothing on my dry skin but i was left wanting more. the scent of this cream is also not the greatest and definitely leans closer to an herbal scent as opposed to typical hand creams. regardless, it provides some moisture but i definitely feel like it lacked the wow-factor for me. the tube is cool but i realized that my cream actually ended up breaking on me because the packaging is made out of metal, the metal eventually broke and caused the cream to spill out.... not a good experience with the product packaging but the lotion itself was ok.
I got the free smaller sample after a purchase and I use it whenever I'm out. Its light and hydrates but the real product is not worth the price in my opinion.
The Body shop hemp hand protector is quite effective for very dry skin. However, its smell will make you think about using it everyday or not. If your hands are crack and dry, then you will want to give it a try.
this hand protector does moisturize my hands. However, I occasionally have psoriasis and it does not help to clear it up quickly. I do like using the cream as the scent dissipates very quickly.
This was nice. Loved the ingredients and how well it worked to make my hands feel soft and moisturized. However sometimes it left an oily feeling even after applying. Overall, great product.
I usually love Body Shop products but I didn't love this hand cream. I hated the smell and was actually turned off a bit by the packaging and name! Hemp makes me think of cloth and/or pit-don't ask me why and nothing wrong with that - I just don't want it associated with a beauty product. Pot potion, not so much!
I didn't before realize how much I'm drawn by packaging, like soft pastels, which is why I'm so excited to be selected to try Vichy Idealist!
This product works, although I really do not like the smell of it. Gives people the wrong impression and I would definitely not take it travelling with me. The drug dogs would be all over me.
