To any late teen or twentysomething: read this book. I was assigned it for a book club and wasn't so keen on it at first. It seemed clichéd, lame, out of touch but I was totally wrong. It's a refreshing wake up call with practical knowledge and info that I guarantee will motivate you.
Dr. Meg Jay (the author)'s message is this: thirty is not the new twenty. You need start thinking, planning now. Your twenties are a critical growth stage.
She not only delivers this message thoughtfully and with proof but she also gives you clues on how you can change this. The book is written is case study format and you'll definitely relate to any/all/one of the characters. It's written for the real world, your situation, in plain English. She knows how to speak to 20 year olds. The book touches on work, love and your brain and body. This book pretty much changed the way I am thinking about my 20's and I will recommend it to everyone I know.
