This is a gel that you rub on your face to exfoliate the dead skin cells. I thought it was going to cause the dead skin to ball up, like other products like this do. Instead it just rubs all over your skin. It does make your skin soft though, so I'm not disappointed. It also has a scent of apples, but not to strong.
