I had a friend introduce me to this series before I even heard that the movies were coming out. They are pretty easy to read and follow. You can feel yourself being drawn into the books as if you are there watching, which I love about a good author.
These books are full of action and has an interesting take on a futuristic world and how easily we could be divided and controlled.
It is always great to have a hero, but even more inspiring when you have a heroine lead character.
I couldn't read these books fast enough, but I hate to say that I am disappointed of the ending of the series. I was actually mad. I wished for a happier, stronger ending and I got the opposite of that, I hate how the characters turned out. It left me sad.
I would still read these over again though, I did enjoy the story.

I have these books and was so excited to hear they were making the movies for this series. I loved the books so much. there is just enough action and love story mixed in for every reader. I totally recommend these books to those who like action packed stories, with a touch of drama. Similar storyline to "Divergent series". If you're into one, you'll be into the other. (At least I was), and I LOVE reading. Some books I've read, I own 2 copies of -- movie and regular copies. Haha

Despite being an adult, I'm a huge fan of YA books. This was a great read and hard to put down. The ending made me almost scream and I had to run out the next day to get the next one to find out what happened (even though I really wanted to run out that night and get it, but it was too late). Definitely recommend this book for both young adults and any adults beyond the ya age group!

I really enjoyed this series. I know it is a teen novel, but this adult loved it. I just found the series so exciting and different from the every day novels out there for adults. Why can't there be more books of this nature for the older generation :)

I absolutely loved these books!!! they are fantastic at keeping you interested and keeping your eyes glued to the pages!! Suzanne Collins have made these books into a must-read for all ages!!

With the introduction of a new dystopian series for readers to enjoy, I have found that people who are not into reading much at all have even found these books enjoyable and maintained their interest throughout the three-book series. Overall outstanding ability to write and definitely would be interested in more of Suzanne's novels.

I loved reading this series. I read through it so fast and enjoyed every minute. When I was done reading all three books I was sad it was over. Really great story.

I read all three books and really enjoyed them all! I love how the stories are easy to follow, have developed the characters fully so it's easy to connect with their stories and the flow of the books makes them easy to read and quickly! I finished the whole series within a few weeks. If you are thinking of seeing the movies I definitely recommend reading the books first.

Best series I've ever read. My husband hates reading, but my son and I loved it so much that even he read it. He LOVED it. The whole family is hooked. No doubt we'll all read it again.

The Hunger Games Trilogy are amazing. Super intense and addictive! I read through them SO quickly. Reallly grab you and immerse you in the world of Katniss.

i have this series it is a great group of books to read keeps you on edge and wanting more, it is a hard book to put down and waiting for the next one. it is highly recommend for all ages
