Watched the Spanish version with English sub titles, not sure if they have the English version now but it was a creepy good movie.

What do you think, have you seen it?

From the creator's of Pan's Labyrinth comes a super chilling story - The Orphanage. It was creepy, suspenseful and all-around great in my opinion. Lots of imagery, great use of costumes/makeup. LOVED IT.

Coincidentally, I just rented this a few days ago as well! I am so impressed with the storyline, it was beautifully written. And it's not your typically cheesy classic horror movie.

Laura and her husband buy the old Orphanage she grew up in and had many cherished memories. Their adopted son, Simon, starts communicating with his invisible friends. They think it's a phase but soon realize he is talking to the dead.

This is an absolutely brilliant movie. Another hit from Guillermo del Torro, the genius behind Pan's Labyrinth.

Released in 2007, it is Spanish with English subtitles, but it's so good you'll hardly notice.

This will chill you to the bone. If you like a good intense ghost story that isn't gory you will love this movie. It has also rated well on IMDB and Rotten Tomatoes. I watched it a couple of weeks ago and am still thinking about it. Highly recommended.
