I was very happy and honoured to be chosen to attend the Womanity Perfume Party since it's my first in person review! I got to meet Ali for the first time and met many nice chickadvisor members. I was very excited to try this new perfume by Mugler because I just adored Angel! At first when I sprayed it on my wrist, I found it very strong because it's so woody, but then after a few minutes it faded to being sweet. Sweet and salty, who would have thought!? It's a very creative concept and Mugler never dissapoints! I love all his perfumes and Womanity will go into the favourites category. Once I finish this sample bottle, I will definately go to have it refilled! Another neat concept! Thank you Ali and Chickadvisor for giving me this opportunity to review Womanity and for the wonderful gift bag!

I attended the party at the Chick Advisor office last evening for the launch of Womanity. I really like the fragrance, and I would definitely buy it on my own. It is a strong scent but also really feminine.

I was one of the lucky ladies chosen to attend the Womanity Perfume Party this evening. It was a pleasure meeting and chatting with the ladies. As a long time fan of Thierry Mugler's Angel, I was unsure what to expect from this new perfume. After listening to the presentation where our gracious host explained that Womanity was intended to be different from Angel, I was even more unsure what to expect. When we first got to smell the different scents that were put together to make up Womanity, individually, they all smelt really good. When we got to take a whiff of this new perfume it seemed ok until I tested it on my wrist.

The scent was not too strong or overly sweet. As someone with delicate senses, this scent did not bother me at all which made me like it even more. Even after a shower, there is a faint scent. This one is a keeper!

I was very fortunate to be invited to ChickAdvisor's Womanity perfume party - thanks so much Ali and the rest of the ChickAdvisor team for arranging this :)
We were informed at the presentation that Mugler wanted to make a perfume that was both sweet and salty. Did you know you cannot smell "salty" but can only taste it? I didn't know that. But Mugler managed to use a new kind of science so that you can smell salty notes. That being said, I cannot smell the saltiness in the perfume - it smells sweet and woody to me. I absolutely love it! And I'm not just saying that because I went to the get together either! I'm not easily swayed by perfumes and I have to admit, I actually was a bit worried about this one because I'm not a fan of Mugler's famous Angel perfume. My go to scent and all time favourite for the past 3 years or so has been Armani Code, and no other scent has come close to my love for it. But honestly, I'm very very impressed with Womanity. Four years in the making paid off! You'll have to take a whiff of this yourself and I know I will be buying a bottle (and very likely consecutive ones at that since I go through perfumes quickly!) as soon as I finish the one that was given to me to take home by ChickAdvisor :)

I was very honoured to be chosen to be part of the Womanity party at ChickAdvisor. We were all lucky to recieve our very own bottle of Womanity!!

I have my signature scent which, for the most part, I stick to. Tonight, I have found a new scent: Womanity. Both sweet and salty. Wow. Quite sensuous indeed. I would never have imagined that fig, caviar, and fig wood and leaf could blend so well. At first spray, it can be quite powerful (I can't lie); however, the scent lasts for hours, and (for me) the scent gets better as it becomes more subdued.

What caught my eye, and wasn't mentioned, was the fact that Womanity is refillable! Forward thinking for North America; however, old school for Europe. Very eco-friendly.

    Vraiment Fantastique!!!

So I was one of the lucky ladies chosen to attend the event where we would be presented with the Thierry Mugler perfume. I really enjoyed the event. It was nice to put some faces to the members on this page, including Ali and Pamela. As well as meeting some nice people.
The mood was set well to present the unique perfume. We heard a great intro speech from a wonderful girl (I feel so bad, I forgot her name.) My first impression when I smelt the perfume was, wow this is different. It sprayed on a woodsy scent but then eventually simmered to a soft, sweet smell. As our group concurred, it goes on differently on everyone's skin.
I don't believe this will take over my current favourite perfume, but it might start to grow on me the more I wear it.
It definitely is not one that you spray on too heavily, as it is quite powerful. I would suggest spray lightly and then rubbing in and the good thing with this perfume is that it will not fade like some perfumes do as the day progresses, instead it's like 3 perfumes in one. You start your day smelling one way and end it smelling another way, and it's all wonderful in its own way when you get accustomed to having a spray that contains figs, salt, caviar and fig tree.

I received this perfume to review from the lovely people at Clarins. Further disclosure: I don't know much about perfume - but I do know what I like and what I definitely do not.

This fragrance is unlike anything I've tried before. Love at first spray? Well, I needed to experience Womanity over several hours before I could make up my mind - and the answer is YES.

It starts off quite sweet and fruity, but then the midnote of caviar (yes really!) brings in this really interesting savory salty blend. It feels moody and broody like the ocean but not overpowering or fishy in any way; a really neat mesh with the fruity fig that lingers still. Later, it settles into a soothing woody note that lingers all day long - and that is my favourite part.

This is a perfume that will not be for everyone (note to the guys out there: let your lady test this one out first before shelling out the money). However, if you like it, you will LOVE it. It will be available as an eau de toilette and body line, but what I currently have is the eau de parfum.

When you try this, make sure you keep it on as it transitions through the fragrance notes. I think of it as appetizer, main course and dessert: each flavour is different, but they are all delicious.

    A thumbs up from me!
