Timbaland is already acknowledged as one of music's most inventive and distinctive creators. Yet the artist/producer's forthcoming album, just his second solo album, promises to shock the world. Timbaland Presents Shock Value (Mosley Music Group/Blackground/Interscope) is set for release April 3, 2007. The first single, 'Give It To Me,' featuring Justin Timberlake and Nelly Furtado. 'My mission is to blow up the boundaries and tear down the limits,' says Timbaland. I'm taking my music outside of the box. I'm not getting away from what I'm known for; I'm just going to a place where it's all about the music, not about the labels on the music. That's why I call it Shock Value--from the artists to the production, it will shock the system. Guests include Justin Timberlake, Nelly Furtadio, Jay-Z, Fall Out Boy, Nicole Scherzinger (PCD), Snoop Dogg, Lil' Wayne, Twista, She Wants Revenge, The Hives, Keri Hilson, Elton John and more. This is the explict version.

I absoultely loved this album considering its been his first album out since Alliyah passed away. Its great because you have a lot of other artists up and coming who hes working with in this album. Definately if you like hip-hop and a bit of Rap you will really enjoy this CD as it really incorporates a lot of unique sound. I personally, thought the sounds could've been a bit longer but overall an awesome album. He got a few unknown artists in here that I'm sure hes trying to promote in his album. I love especially the collaboration with Elton John really kewl to incoporate a bit of hip-hop with some classy piano tunes. Awesome album a must by as its selling pretty cheap at best buy

I just ordered this cd from Itunes a few days ago and love it. This is not your typical rapper album of grunting, swearing and no melody. Timbaland collaborates with a bunch of different artists on this album and the result is 17 really fantastic songs. I downloaded the "clean" version since I'm not interested in hearing women being called 'ho's' and other lyrics that would make me embarrassed to have my car window down on a nice day).

I can easily say this is the best album I've bought in a while and it also rated really well on itunes. There isn't a single song I don't like on here. If you like this genre of music, this is a MUST buy.
