I finally feel my legs and behind are in shape enough to confidently wear leggings.
For working out, I normally wear Lululemon, however…fashion leggings I do not expect the same results in performance and wear.
I absolutely LOVE the designs that TinyUnicorn has for their leggings – the Tardis caught my eye immediately, and I knew it must be mine.
I was a bit skeptical, however, as it is “one size fits all” – which is a broad range.
My hips are 41”, waist is 33” and I am 5’-2” – normally a size 10 for work and workout pants, and a size 31 in my Curvy Gap jeans.
I am not an XL-M in pants (as the suggested sizing states your body should be).
I also workout almost daily, and have a caboose (thank you squats) – so again, scared of these being too tight for my body shape.
I was relieved when I tried them on – I was able to get them on without doing the wiggle dance. They are not see through on me, and my legs and behind look pretty amazing! There is no camel toe effect, and due to the higher waist, muffin top is not happening for me. Sweet!
The design is perfect, and well done – any Whovian would be pleased.
The material is soft – a bit shiny (but not overpowering), and the stitching looks decent.
The length is fine for me, and I do not need to take them up – they could fit a taller person, so just squish down a bit near my ankles.
I am also a fitness clothing snob. I took the dogs for a walk, and OMG – my legs were not breathing so well through the fabric. I am just used to fabric that wicks and does not leaving me overheating. For hanging out, going out, parties, etc., these are fine. But if it involves exerting yourself or sweating situations – I would not recommend these for those activities.
Despite that, I do love them. And will wear them whenever I can!
The pricing should be a bit lower considering the whole not-working-out effectiveness of these leggings.
