I love this brand of whole peppercorns! I buy the big bottle as pictured and it lasts for quite some time. I love to grind my own fresh pepper when I'm cooking. I've always thought food tastes better with the freshest of ingredients and that includes pepper too. In a pepper grinder, you can grind them up as course or as fine as you want. The smell of the peppercorns is fantastic.
