Add lean protein to your diet with the turkey sausage and #McCain potato pancakes recipe. This is not as easy to make as previous tested dishes and does take about half an hour to cook so perhaps start a bit sooner than you may have before. You can substitute the turkey sausage for a different meat or vegan option if turkey is not a meat you enjoy. Also the recipe calls for a side dish of strawberries and my diet frowns on the seeds so feel free to also substitute the fruit. I found it is the sweet jam taste that makes the meal taste nicer so it will not change the flavour if using a different fruit. This dish was not enjoyed as much by my children but both myself and my husband quite liked it so I would recccomend this recipe more so for adults but your children may be less picky than mine. Probably will make again when kids are gone!
