So to begin with this really did not seem to work well with removing my unwanted leg hairs. I was really surprised as I have loved other Veet products I have used. Not only though did it not remove very much leg hair, it burned my leg and broke some capillaries causing my leg to bruise horribly. I am willing to give it one more shot once that area heals, but at this point in time I am not that impressed.

I never waxed before, at home or in salon, so was very excited to try Veet EasyWax electrical roll on kit to prepare my legs for the summer. I received it for free from Veet to try and review. I was just about to go on holiday so this campaign came in with perfect timing.

I took me approximately ten days to grow my hair the right length for waxing, lucky for me we haven't been spoiled with good weather because for those ten days I lived in leggings. Frankly speaking, I was quite fed up with it but was determined that it was worth it!

I got the kids to bed and set out on the waxing mission. According to the instructions it all seemed to be pretty straightforward but having read the other reviews I let the appliance to heat up a bit longer than the recommended 20 min.

I normally use a razor but a little while ago I epilated and started getting ingrown hair ever since. In hope of preventing this happening again i've been using body scrub on my legs and also used body brush to lift off any hair right before waxing.

I liked the warm sensation of the pink wax on my legs and as I pulled the first strip off it did't actually hurt that much. I left my legs silky smooth and I was very impressed with the result.

Very quickly it started to get messy though. I had wax stuck to my fingers, to the appliance and the bathroom floor. I also didn't like the fact the you could only remove wax with the special wipes and I only had four of them. I also noticed that some of my hair was shorter than the others and it was particularly difficult to grab those.

Unlike an elilator or a razor Veet EasyWax requires not just one thing to the job but a few. Apart from the actual appliance you need to make sure that you have enough wax, plenty of waxing strips and a good supply of aftercare wipes.

I also had to leave the appliance to cool before I could pack it away and it doesn't come with a storage bag. Lucky I had a spare bag otherwise it would have looked really messy with all the wires and waxing cartridges scattered in one of my draws.

I was glad when eventually I was done with waxing and believe it or not I had a beautiful pair of silky smooth legs to show for it!

Four weeks on my hair started to regrow and I noticed it was finer than before. A bonus, right? It would be if sadly some of the hair didn't start to grow back into the skin instead of rising up from it. Most of them I managed to lift up by exfoliating but some grew in and as a result my legs are scattered with red bumps. Some of the bumps had pus inside and as I couldn't resist squeezing them they swell up even more and now look like bites. My legs are not a pretty sight and I only hope this is temporary and will heal overtime.

I heard that there are some topical aftercare creams out there that prevent ingrown hair and it would be very handy if something like that was included in the Veet waxing kit.

In the meantime I will revert to shaving and will tend my legs for any ingrown hair. Unfortunately at the moment I can't boast with silky smooth legs. It's a real shame waxing didn't work out for me, i really enjoyed the results while they lasted.

This is not a product I would recommend. The wax does not like to come off onto the strip, it's messy. It also breaks the hairs off unlike other waxing systems which means the hair grows back quicker and thicker. In this case cheaper system is not worth the money!

First of all, the wax took about an hour to heat up and not 20 minutes but when it did heat up it went on smoothly. The handle was easy to use and the wax stayed at an even temperature. The negative I have is the wax didn't remove all the hair, but that could be inexperience on my part. The finishing wipes did remove all the excess wax but it was really greasy. I don't enjoy the price of this product and probably won't be buying the refills for it.

I tried this system out to see if I could save myself some money by giving home waxing another try. My big problem with at home waxing previously was getting the wax to the exact temperature so seeing this electric system was intriguing to me.

The instructions said it would take 20 minutes to heat the wax, in my case it took closer to 30 but it was worth the wait. The wax wasn't too hot, and I didn't burn myself at all. It also did a great job of sticking to the hairs so you ripped them right out when you pulled. It rolled on very easily as well. The wipes they include in the pack also take care of getting all the wax off your body since water won't remove the wax. It also leaves your skin feeling soft and soothed so that's great too.

The system is about $25-$30 and refills are $15 (ish) but, it appears that each refill will last me two or three waxes so it's much cheaper than going to a salon. I'm so glad I discovered this product!

Veet recently launched its most innovative hair removal product to date, Veet EasyWax Electrical Roll-On.
This warm wax hair removal system is the first at-home product of its kind to be available in the
Canadian market, delivering salon waxing results at home.

    The pack contains:
    Self-heating device and cap
50ml roll-on wax refill for arms and legs (Also available refill for bikini and underarm.)
    12 non-woven strips
    4 perfect finish wipes
    Base to hold the device
    Electrical cable
    Instruction leaflet

This roll-on kit is exceptionally easy to use, even for the first-timer, such as me! I have always been dead afraid of waxing for some reasons, and being blessed with sparse blonde hair, I certainly won't complain to have to shave once a week, and often less. Waxing always rhymed with mess in my head, but that was until I tried Veet EasyWax!

Using Veet EasyWax is as simple as plugging it in and the self-heating device will automatically heat the wax cartridge to the perfect temperature, removing the need to make multiple trips to the microwave or handle jars of hot wax. In the instruction leaflet, it is advised to place the plugged device on its base, and leave it connected for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, apply the wax to a small area first to ensure that the wax applies easily - if the wax does not easily roll onto the skin, let the device warm the wax for an additional five minutes. Eager to try my new "toy", I was disappointed to see that after 20 minutes, the wax was not melted and it came out of the applicator quite streaky. Following the instructions, I replaced the devide on its base for another five minutes, but still, I had the same results again!

After one hour - yes, one hour - the wax was finally ready. I must say my excitment had faded a bit but still, I went at it and applied the wax on my leg. The ergonomically designed roll-on applicator makes it easy to apply a thin layer of wax in preparation for waxing - I was actually surprised at how light and compact the device felt in my hand. I was disappointed again to notice that a lot of hair was left behind everytime I waxed an area, but I attribute this to the fact that I don't have any real experience with waxing.

When I was done, I used a perfect finish wipe to remove any wax residue (the wax can't be rinsed off with water) but the wipe is so oily, it's really messy! After using it, I had to try to remove the oily residues left behind... not fun.

Veet EasyWax is formulated with natural beeswax and the same ingredients used in professional salon
wax. The formula is gentle to use even on the most sensitive skin, and results in incredibly smooth skin
    for up to four weeks.

Overall, if you are a noob like me when it comes to waxing, I would highly recommend this handy kit. It contains everything you need and it's really easy to use. Sure it's not perfect, but once you get the hang of it, I'm sure it gets better.

The EasyWax Electrical Roll-On Kit is available at a suggested retail price of $29.99. Refill cartridges for legs/arms and bikini/underarm are also available for the suggested retail price of $13.99. Veet® products are available at drug, mass merchants and grocery stores nationwide.
